Following 24 years of involvement in aviation finance, in 2008 Mitsubishi Corporation established MC Aviation Partners as a stand-alone entity.  More recently, foreseeing the explosive growth in the global airline industry, in 2014 MCAP established Vermillion Aviation Holdings Limited (“Vermillion”) with its partners, Cheung Kong Property Holdings Limited and Li Ka Shing (Overseas) Foundation.

MCAP and its partners created Vermillion to increase the depth of its financial resources readily available to finance the purchase and leasing of aircraft, including pre-delivery payment financing.

Vermillion provides airlines with a full suite of financial, consulting, analytical and transactional services.

Vermillion is owned:
40% by MCAP, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation.
50% by Cheung Kong Property Holdings Limited, a renowned multinational conglomerate committed to innovation and technology that employs over 270,000 people in over 50 countries across the world.  10% by Li Ka Shing (Overseas) Foundation.
